Message from Duke Health Leadership

To address the growing risks to our digital infrastructure, Duke Health needs your help.

Anyone who connects mobile devices to the secure Duke Health wireless network will be required to enroll these devices in the new Duke Health Mobile Device Manager (MDM) by January 5, 2018.

It is important to understand that your mobile device can put the security of critical clinical information, financial data, research and intellectual property at risk. Accessing Duke Health resources using our secure wireless network via a smart phone or tablet places a potential security threat to our systems.

Therefore, enrollment in the Duke Health MDM is required for the following groups:

  • Anyone who carries a Duke-owned device; this includes smartphones and tablets.
  • Anyone that receives a stipend for use of their own mobile device.
  • And anyone that brings their device to work for personal use and accesses our secure wireless network.

Additionally, starting January 1, 2018 the Duke Health MBM will be the only way you to access our secure wireless network to view Duke email via a mobile device.

Be proactive and enroll today by clicking the blue “Enroll in Duke Health Mobile Device Manager” button in the upper right-hand corner of this site to start the registration process.
